Let’s Fight Hunger.

Have you taken a moment to consider and pray for those who are hungry this holiday season?

Hunger in America is a growing problem.
Check out these staggering statistics:

In 2018, 14.3 million families faced limited access to food.

In 2019, over 35 million American families faced limited access to food.

In 2020, it is projected that OVER 50 MILLION American families will face limited access to food.

I discovered these statistics shortly before sitting down for dinner a few nights ago….and felt extra thankful for my plate full of food.

There is, however, another kind of hunger that many of us can relate to.  Spiritual hunger continues to reveal itself as we face the many issues that are plaguing our world, especially with the uncertainty that 2020 has brought upon us.  Everywhere we look, it is evident that people are starving for truth, answers, belonging, and hope. Jesus, aware of this hunger, revealed himself as the solution. “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst” - John 6:35

Will you make a special donation to help meet the physical and spiritual hunger of people on Long Island?  50% of all donations made on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, will be donated to Light House Mission - a mobile food pantry serving Long Islanders.  The remaining 50% of your donation will contribute to fighting spiritual hunger with a new church on Long Island.  We believe that God intended the local church to be the vessel carrying his message of eternal life and hope found only in his Son, Jesus.  Will you help us start a church that will inspire Long Islanders to follow Jesus?

Participate in our Giving Tuesday campaign by selecting December 1st as the processing date for your donation.

Thank you for using your finances and generosity to join us in our Church Plant Journey!
