We’re starting a new church!
Our Journey Snapshot
Residency.
We are currently participating in a church planting residency program at Grace Church in Kansas City! This residency is around one year in length and is designed to give us hands-on, practical training on how to start a church. While in the residency we will develop connections with other church planters and begin the first stages of church planting, including forming a Launch Team - people who will come with us to start the church!
Relocation.
Once we complete the residency program we will relocate to Long Island, NY where we will eventually plant a church. At this time, any Launch Team members who have felt God prompting them to be a part of this church will also move to Long Island. We will begin developing relationships in the community as well as making preparations for launch day.
Launch.
After lots and lots of prayer, preparation, and teamwork we will launch a brand new church in Suffolk County, New York!
Believe it or not, it costs money to plant a church…
I know, we were shocked too. Especially when we realized how much it would cost! It seems utterly impossible. And the truth is, it is impossible for Michael and Emily alone. But God never intended church planting to be a solo sport. That’s why we’re asking YOU to consider being on the team by supporting us financially.
